columbine was a terrible thing. if the NRA would take sub-machine gun out of factories and stop selling them in stores then people would be much safer. thousands would be alive and safer without them. only military needs massive guns not civilians. how could the gun problem be ended? how would you go about it?

  1. Yes I agree that SMG's should not be sold in stores, and that's why they are not. They are very dangerous and should not be needed for an average American citizen. The gun problem could never be ended because people who are pro-gun believe that they are allowed to have guns for safety, defy their freedoms, and their love for hunting. People who are anti-gun think that by creating more restrictions on guns and increasing background checks will result in less deaths from guns. In reality, people can still obtain guns without going to stores and getting a license. Also many of the shooters, like the columbine ones, wouldn't be affected by more in depth background checks. They had no background before their shootings so these wouldn't really stop them from obtaining guns. I have no idea how to go about this problem and I don't think there will ever be a way to solve this gun issue.
